Route Descriptions
100 mile | 62 mile | 50 mile | 36 mile | 10 mile
In 2012 we "tweaked" all the routes to add a bit more "fun" into the mix and this year we're using the same routes. As usual we'll begin and end at Motlow State Community College The difficulty rating of these routes, especially the 100 mi, is still at the intermediate/advanced level. Rest stops are provided at approximate 15–20 mi intervals.
A separate 10 mi route is provided at no charge, for bicycling newcomers. Of course dinner and commemorative items are not included with the free 10 mi route but may be available for purchase on a first come first served basis.
The Motlow State Community College venue has extensive parking capabilities as well as fantastic shower/locker facilities.
As a special feature all routes, with the exception of the 100 mi and 10mi, visit the historic town of Lynchburg, TN. Lynchburg is a picturesque little town home to Jack Daniels Distillery, the oldest registered distillery in the US.
Before arriving in Lynchburg you'll pass through up to four Tennessee counties, experience plenty of rolling hills and enjoy several challenging climbs.

If you're looking for an excellent introduction to a longer type ride without being too long, we suggest the 50 mile route. It's the ride that's not too long and difficult but still challenging. You'll be able to say when you finish it was "just right."
